Easter Egg Hunt Survival 101

1.  Keep your eyes open at all times, they come at you reeeelly fast.
2.  Do not give the tiny kids too much head start or the older kids scowl at you.
3.  Do not stand in place for too long, you look like a rookie.
4.  NEVER fill eggs with carob or raisins, this brings out scary voices in children.
5.  When hiding plastic filled eggs, never toss them on the ground, they pop open and it's tempting to eat the candy.
6.  Make sure each child has a bag big enough for several eggs, small bags are an insult to the average, competitive 5 year old.
7.  Never go through your daughters eggs looking for a piece of candy... chances are in the 5 minutes since the hunt ended, she has already taken meticulous inventory.

OK.... so it's not 101 tips, but it's a start.... Sunday was a blast!  The kids all had a great time at our second annual Easter egg hunt, and the people in church, really came through again.  Not sure exactly how many eggs we got, but it was at least 1000.  We guessed at about 60 kids this year, and we all had a great time watching them.  The kids were soooo appreciative and thankful for the hunt, even though my "tips" would claim otherwise.  It was great having so many Happy Time families with us making the morning even more special.
