SRNC Kidz present "Stranger in a Manger"

On Christmas Eve this year, the kids presented the musical, "Stranger in a Manger".  If there is one thing that the we have no shortage of, it's "drama."  We have a group full of singers and some really great actors and actresses as well.  There may only be 15 kids, but they pack a mighty punch.  Many people in church say they sound like a large children's choir, that's how great they sound!  I was so proud of our little choir, they did a Spectacular job!

Trunk or Treat 2007

In October we had our 2nd annual Trunk or Treat in our church parking lot.  We had an absolute blast as 30 different families came and decorated their trunks and passed out candy as kids went trunk or treating around the cars.  From horse trailers to mad scientists we had many fun and exciting themes inside the cars.  When the kids weren't trunking they were playing in the bounce house, eating chili, or watching "Evan Almighty" on the big screen.  We especially loved having so many families from Happy Time participating this year and joining in with our church... it was such a fun night we were all excited to do it again next year!!

Sport Camp June 2007

Sports Camp is definitely a highlight of our summers.  This being our 5th year, it seems to get better every year!  With cheerleading, soccer and basketball being offered, there is something for just about everyone.  This year our biggest signups were for cheerleading, with about 20 cheerleaders.  One thing I was so excited about this year, was the 17 volunteers from church who wanted to help out.  It felt like such a blessing having so many people willing to give their week up and help out at Sport Camp.  On top of the people who helped during the camp, we had about 10 other families who helped out with scholarships for kids.... Thanks Church family!  You really came through again!
